We are fortunate to have a thriving community of active spiritual directors in Gloucestershire. Some of our members also come from surrounding areas such as Worcestershire, Bristol, Herefordshire, Wales, Wiltshire and Oxfordshire.
We seek to offer our members regular in-person and Zoom events of on-going training and development. We also meet together for the yearly AGM where members have a say and vote in the activities of the Trust, and we hold other on-going activities such as a regular online meeting of contemplative prayer. Some members also run teaching sessions or offer experiences of different ways of prayer for our A Companion’s Way training course.
The Trust has over 50 enquiries a year from those seeking spiritual direction and we provide links between these searchers and our members. We offer an online directory of Spiritual Directors, as well as others which are held centrally. If you would like to join our community, you are most welcome. We ask you to complete the Application form which ensures you have received sufficient training and are in (or willing to take-up) supervision .
